Jetwing Hotels and Villas introduces its latest addition to the eclectic portfolio, Jetwing Galle Heritage Home. The exclusive and private villa is a lovingly restored traditional Southern Sri Lankan manor, nestled in the historic  city of Galle.

Drawing inspiration from the nation’s very own rich architectural heritage, the heritage villa has been meticulously restored to its former glory, serving as a living  testament to the island’s traditions. While most heritage structures in the country  represent a fusion of colonial and local influences, Jetwing Galle Heritage Home  truly reflects the island’s age-old design principles and aesthetics, making it the  first and only authentic Sri Lankan boutique home.

An opportunity to experience the rich tapestry of history, culture, and tranquillity  that graces the Southern coast of Sri Lanka, Jetwing Galle Heritage Home is  positioned within a 10-minute drive from the iconic Galle fort, in the residential town  of Milidduwa.

Hiran Cooray said “Our recent transformation of a traditional Northern home in  the heart of Jaffna – Jetwing Mahesa Bhawan, gave us the confidence to take on  more similar projects, resulting in our latest opening of a heritage home in the  Southern capital of Galle. As a company committed to Sri Lanka in every way, we  are pleased to contribute to the restoration and preservation of heritage properties  across the Emerald Isle and create new experiences for discerning travellers.”

The heritage villa comprises of three spacious rooms, including two deluxe rooms  and an enchanting attic suite, where modern comforts seamlessly blend with the  traditional. A fully equipped kitchen, inclusive of a wood-fired clay stove and a gas  stove, is available for guests to prepare their own meals, along with a private chef  who will be at the property to prepare meals on request.

Nature and adventure enthusiasts will find themselves in paradise, with numerous  exciting excursions nearby, from exploring archaeological and religious sites such  as Rumassala, to witnessing the richness of art and culture at the nearby traditional mask museums. Discover the mesmerising natural wonders of Kanneliya  rainforest and Hiyare reservoir, where tranquil nature awaits exploration.  Moreover, the Southern coast offers an array of thrilling activities such as

snorkelling, scuba diving, and whale watching, promising an unforgettable  adventure.
