Fifty three Independent travel agents from 28 agencies as well as Home Workers attended BRIGHT’s, (Bringing Real Information & Guaranteed High Quality Training), last event before the summer break at The Queen in Chester. 

The event was hosted by members from Kirker Holidays, Hurtigruten, Veloso Tours, African Pride, Oceania Cruises, Inside Japan, Cox and Kings, Mark Warner, Sunvil and Viking Cruises.

The event’s sponsor was the Alentejo Tourist Promotion Board.

Winner of the three night Alentejo holiday for two with flights and car hire was Libby Mattocks from Hays Travel.

Agents attended from Bebington Travel, Buckley Travel, Chester Travel Connection, City Travel, Co-operative Personal Travel, Crown Travel, Delmar World Travel, Deva Travel, Dragon Travel Agents, Flight Centre, Global Vacations, Grosvenor Travel Group, Hays Travel, Not Just Travel, Owens Travelmaster, Peakes Travel Elite, Pearl King Travel, Sandy Lane Travel, Stockton Heath Travel- Hays Travel, Travel Lab and Travel Places .

Hisham Mahmoud, chairman of Bright, said: “We’ve completed 10 of our 14 workshops for 2017 and we are now taking a break until September.

“The enthusiasm shown by our independent agents has been tremendous and our members are looking forward to the final four workshops in September and October.”

The next workshop on September 5 will be in Winchester followed by Portsmouth  on September 6.
