The East Rift Valley National Scenic Area Administration (ERV Administration) of Taiwan is leading tour operators to attend the 2019 international MITM Travel Fair 2019 in Johor, Malaysia to promote Huatung tourism.

Kuo Chenling, director of ERV Administration said that according to the tourism bureau, the number of New South’s inbound visitors in 2018 reached 2.28 million, accounting for about 23% of the overall market. In terms of consumption, New South’s total consumption in the first nine months of last year reached USD 2.78 billion.

Chou Shih Pi, director of Taiwan Tourism Bureau in Kuala Lumpur said Huatung’s beauty and special tourism is expected to attract new visitors and repeat travellers to the virgin destination.
