Pan Pacific Airlines

A new Korean-backed passenger airline in the Philippines is planning to launch its second international route this month.

Pan Pacific Airlines, which is based at Kalibo International Airport, one of the gateways to the resort island of Boracay, commenced operations in April 2017 with daily flights to Seoul.

And according to the Routes Online flight database, it will start flying to Muan International Airport, in the southwest corner of the Korean peninsula, on 26 July. Flights will initially run four times a week before being reduced to twice a week on 16 August.

A full-service carrier, Pan Pacific Airlines offers passengers hot in-flight meals, drinks, blankets and 20kg of baggage allowance on its Airbus A320 aircraft.

Backed by Korean inventors, it will mainly serve the South Korean outbound market with direct flights to the beaches of Boracay.
