The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) hosted its live social media cooking event ‘Nakhat Thailandiaa with Rawan’ (Flavour of Thailand with Rawan) on 12 August 2020.

The one-hour livestream featured prominent special guest and new mother, Rawan Bin Hussain, as she prepared popular dishes Thai Tom Yum Soup and Pineapple Fried Rice.

The broadcast – which took place on Mother’s Day in Thailand and coincided with the birthday of the Queen mother of Thailand – unlocked the destination by highlighting a variety of Thai ingredients and their origins in the country. In addition, four lucky quiz winners each receives a dining voucher to enjoy Thai cuisine at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort’s Mekong restaurant.
