Genting Cruise Lines, the newly-formed Hong Kong company, hosted its first “Travel Agent and Media Partner Forum” this month.

The event gathered more than 350 travel agents, company executives and members of the media onboard the brand new Genting Dream cruise ship from 7-9 April. Delegates travelled from 11 Asia Pacific countries to attend the event, including Australia, China, India, Singapore and Japan.

During the three-day event, Genting provided updates on its expanding collection of cruise products, including the SuperStar Virgo’s inaugural homeport in Shanghai, SuperStar Gemini’s deployment to Bangkok, and Genting Dream’s dual summer homeports of Hong Kong and Guangzhou.

The group was also treated to a series of onboard activities, including sporting challenges, a cocktail reception and themed gala dinner.

Genting Cruise Lines operates Star Cruises, Dream Cruises and Crystal Cruises.
