From China’s ancient capital to the historic streets of Rome — we’ve once again compiled some of the latest hotel openings from across the globe. This week on our round-up, we have new properties from Sofitel, Four Seasons, St Regis and NH Collection.
Sofitel Xi’an South
Accor Greater China has announced the newest addition to the Sofitel family with the signing of Sofitel Xi’an South, slated for completion in the next few years.
The new Sofitel hotel is situated in the commercial and high-tech Qujiang District in south Xi’an. It will be part of Nanfeihong Plaza, a 300,000 sqm mixed-use complex that houses a shopping mall and commercial offices owned by Shaanxi Nanfeihong Industrial — 300 meters from Sanyao Station on Metro Line 2.

Gary Rosen, chairman and chief operating officer, Accor Greater China, said: “Sofitel Xi’an South’s opening will be the group’s newest landmark in the ancient Chinese capital and offers a unique French luxury hospitality experience. This will be the 11th Accor hotel in Xi’an. I am particularly excited to announce this groundbreaking partnership with Shaanxi Nanfeihong Industrial for our first project together. This will be another significant addition to the Sofitel brand development following our recent announcement of Sofitel Beijing Central.”
Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE

Now open, Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE was developed by India’s Embassy Group, with modern interiors by Yabu Pushelberg. The hotel features a curated collection of paintings, prints and sculptures by more than 25 contemporary Indian artists throughout the property. Rooms and suites offer views of the greenery, some featuring the Palace Grounds. At the Hotel’s dining venues, Four Seasons chefs and mixologists take centre stage.
Embassy ONE is also home to 105 Four Seasons Private Residences, the first of its kind in India.
The St Regis Hong Kong

The St Regis Hong Kong has recently opened in the district of Wan Chai, a dynamic hub of commerce and culture. The luxury hotel will feature interiors by designer, André Fu, as well as two specialty restaurants helmed by award-winning chefs. Described as a curated mansion, design elements throughout the hotel incorporates signature details which pay homage to Hong Kong’s culture and heritage.
The St Regis Hong Kong will be located a stone’s throw away from the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, Golden Bauhinia Square, Admiralty, Lan Kwai Fong in Central and Victoria Peak.
NH Collection Fori Imperiali

NH Hotel Group is set to open its sixth property in Rome later this year, the boutique-style NH Collection Fori Imperiali. The upper-upscale property will be located near the city’s most famous historical sites including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Castel Sant’Angelo and the Vatican.
The NH Collection Fori Imperiali will have 42 rooms (9 of which will be suites) decorated in a contemporary and luxurious style, with most offering direct views over some of Rome’s most prized archaeological and architectural treasures.
