据Tnooz报道，最近，美国和英国政府相继公布禁令，禁止旅客将较大的电子设备带上部分航班。对此，国际航空运输协会（IATA）紧急呼吁两国政府找到替代解决办法。
根据美英两国政府的禁令，乘坐从中东和北非地区多个机场直飞美国和英国航班的旅客必须将大于手机的电子设备放在行李中进行托运。
IATA理事长亚历山大·德·朱尼亚克（Alexandre de Juniac）近日在蒙特利尔外交关系理事会上发表演讲时表示：“无论美英两国政府想要解决怎样的威胁，它们目前宣布的措施从长期来看并非可以接受的解决办法。即便是在短期，也很难理解这些措施会有多大效果。”
朱尼亚克称：“电子设备禁令造成的商业扭曲是非常严重的。我们必须找到一个更好的办法。政府必须快速采取行动。”他指出，美英两国“在事先未与航空业进行协商，也没有进行太多协调。”
今年5月，国际民航组织（ICAO）成员国将讨论这一问题，并对关于信息共享的《芝加哥公约》附录17的修订进行审议。
