Just after Iran’s retaliation in Iraq against the US forces, a Ukranian Boeing 737 crashed shortly after take-off from Iran’s international airport.
The Boeing 737, headed for Ukraine with 167 passengers and nine crew members on board, crashed just hours after the attack, which killed the notorious General Qassem Soleimani.
According to reports, the plane experienced “technical problems” at the Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, the primary international airport of Tehran, the capital city of Iran. It has also been reported that the Boeing 737-800 jet crashed near Parand, a suburb southwest of capital Tehran.
Currently, an investigation team is surveying the site, while Iranian state media confirmed that all people on board the plane were killed when it crashed.
The aircraft was operated by Ukraine International Airlines.
