Since its boom time in the 80’s, Miami has long held a fascination for tourists as a glamorous destination. Indeed, tourism has become such a vital cornerstone to the region’s economy that, along with the financial services and business sectors, the glorious beaches and variety of cultural attractions found there attract about 38 million global visitors to the city per year.
Now, capitalising on the allure of Art Basel, Winter Music Conference, South Beach Wine & Food Festival and the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami as well as the city’s nightclubs, historical buildings and tip top shopping options, the Mandarin Oriental, Miami has launched its Cruise Your Way giving passengers an option to fit in a stay at the luxury resort, either prior to sailing or afterwards.
“We are able to offer luxury minutes away from their cruise”
Robert Lowe, general manager for the Mandarin Oriental, Miami, said: “Our hotel is in such close proximity to the Port of Miami, it offers the perfect setting for guests to enjoy both before and after their cruise. We are able to offer luxury minutes away from their cruise.” Lowe went on to add: “We are delighted to offer additional benefits that will make their stay even better.”
Located in the affluent Brickell Key district, the Mandarin Oriental, Miami features 326 rooms and suites overlooking the bay area and views of the city’s skyline. Food and drink options includes fine dining at La Mar by chef Gaston Acurio, the Peruvian themed punch bar Acurio and cocktail lounge and martini bar YAKU by La Mar. Not forgetting MO Bar + Lounge, a tri-level spa and infinity pools.
Guests can choose to check-in early or late based on availability, daily American breakfast for two, a spa credit of USD 100 and a laundry credit of USD 100.
