Mürren Tourist Office in Switzerland has appointed a new tourist office director, Jürg Sutter-Salvisberg, to start 1 May 2024. He will run the tourist office and sports centre and sit on the management board of Jungfrau Region Tourismus AG. 

Jürg joins from Regionalverkehr Bern-Solothurn RBS where he was marketing manager, before which he spent four and a half years running strategy and operations for Glacier Express AG. He has also been responsible for sales and guest programmes at Flims Laax Falera Tourist Office.

Marc Ungerer, managing director of the Jungrau Region Tourismus AG welcomed Jürg Sutter-Salvisberg saying: ‘we look forward to working with Jürg whose dynamic and communicative personality brings a wealth of experience to our team’.

Born in Goldingen (St Gallen) and based in Tschingel ob Gunten, 43-year old Jürg holds Diplomas in Marketing and Public Relations. He counts mountain biking, snowboarding and surfing among his hobbies and beautiful design, photography and fine dining his passions.
