Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the innovator in global cruise travel with a 56-year history of breaking boundaries, announced that, for the first time, three ships – Norwegian Spirit, Norwegian Sun, and Norwegian Sky – will be positioned in the Asia Pacific in 2024 and 2025, tripling NCL’s offering in the region. Norwegian Spirit will also make her third consecutive return to Australia and New Zealand.

Asia 

Sister ships Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Sky will make their Asian debuts for the first time, delivering an eight-month season from October 2024 to May 2025. Norwegian Sun and Sky, smaller ships with 1,936 and 2,004 passenger capacity, can enter smaller ports, allowing port-rich and country-intensive itineraries that typically feature one or fewer sea days and overnight stays to maximise guests’ time on the ground. One dedicated Asia sailing and a repositioning cruise from Australia to Asia will be on offer by Norwegian Spirit. Norwegian Sky will call at Akita, Japan, for the first time in October 2024.

Australia, New Zealand & South Pacific

Following a tremendously successful debut in Australian and New Zealand waters, Norwegian Spirit will return for a third consecutive season from October 2024 to March 2025, offering a brand-new sailing from Australia to Asia and her ever-popular 12-day open-jaw cruises between Sydney and Auckland. In addition, the ship will visit Rarotonga, Cook Islands, for the first time in November 2025.

• A 14-day Australia: Brisbane, Cairns, Lombok & Darwin cruise from Sydney to Bali in December 2024 via the remarkable Great Barrier Reef, including an extended overnight stay in Bali
