Qatar Airways, is celebrating one year since the resumption of daily flights between Birmingham and Doha. On 6th July 2023, the airline landed for the first time in three years at Birmingham Airport with a new direct service operated by a Boeing 787-8.
Since the route resumed one year ago, Qatar Airways has flown around 260,000 passengers between Birmingham and Doha, via the World’s Best Airport (Skytrax 2024), Hamad International Airport in Doha, and onto the airline’s global network of more than 170 destinations. Some of the most the popular destinations flown to from Birmingham include Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and India.
