Singapore Airlines (SIA) will increase the number of flights it operates to Paris this winter.

The national carrier has confirmed that from 29 October 2017 to 24 March 2018, it will add three more weekly non-stop flights to the French capital’s Charles de Gaulle Airport. This takes the total frequency of the route to 10 flights per week.

The overall seat capacity of the route will not increase however, as SIA will serve all 10 weekly flights with its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, rather than the larger Airbus A380 that currently operates the daily flights. The 777s are fitted with 264 seats, including four in first class, 48 in business class, 28 in premium economy and 184 in economy.

The three additional flights will depart Singapore’s Changi Airport on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 0230, arriving at Paris Charles de Gaulle at 0930. The return flights will leave at 1800 on the same days, arriving back into Singapore at 1340 the following day.

These flights will operate alongside SIA’s existing daily flights on the route, which depart Changi at 0010. The inbound flights take off from Paris at 1100.
