The Sun Princess officially kicked off the inaugural cruise season with a 10-day Grand Mediterranean voyage roundtrip from Rome. The voyage will take guests to marquee ports, including Naples, Italy; Crete, Greece; Kusadasi, Turkey (for Ephesus); Athens, Greece; Sicily, Italy; Mallorca, Spain; and Barcelona.

The Sun Princess is renowned for offering spacious venues and takes that to the next level with the debut of new eye-catching experience venues. These include The Dome, a groundbreaking geodesic, glass-enclosed structure at the top of the ship inspired by the terraces of Santorini, and the Sphere Atrium, which takes the central Piazza hub of the ship into a new dimension, offering guests expansive ocean views and an open concept for relaxed indoor and outdoor living.

Monika Best, the most travelled guest on the inaugural voyage, praised the ship’s architecture and amenities. “The Sun Princess is absolutely gorgeous, and guests are going to love her. The architecture is unbelievable, and the amenities on board are next level, especially the glass dome at the front of the ship, which is incredibly stunning,” she said.

The Sun Princess also offers an extraordinary culinary experience with 30 inviting restaurant and bar venues. Collaborations with celebrity chefs and mixologists have resulted in an unprecedented collection of high-end ingredients and culinary experiences. These include Spellbound by Magic Castle, Kai Sushi by Makoto, Love by Britto, The Butcher’s Block by Dario, The Catch by Rudi, and Good Spirits at Sea with Rob Floyd.

The ship also debuts a three-story main Horizons Dining Room with endless aft views. Inaugural menus have been created in collaboration with the Culinary Institute of America, retaining what guests love about Princess while introducing new favourites.
