Oman Air has wrapped up a successful three days at ITB Berlin, the world’s largest tourism trade fair.

Oman Air, the national airline of Oman, has officially inaugurated its highly anticipated route to Phuket, celebrating the first flight with a ceremony at its First and Business Class check-in counter at Muscat International Airport.

Joining Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, the airline will be showcasing its products and services to major global players in the travel and tourism industry, the highlight of which will be its award-winning First-Class seat.

Sabre Corporation and Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, announced, at the World Passenger Symposium (WPS), a renewed long-term agreement to help the airline reach its strategic goals.

London Stansted Airport has gained its first scheduled service to Moscow with flights by Russian carrier Ural Airlines. The new four-times a week service is using Airbus A320 aircraft. Oman Air announced the development of its Asia Pacific network this week when it released details of its new codeshare agreement with Bangkok Airways. The agreement, which went into action immediately on April 1st, was signed by Aboudy Nasser (above, centre right), senior vice president of network planning & revenue management for Oman Air and Pakorn Rattanarod (centre,left), director of route profitability and alliance for Bangkok Airways.
