The Ascott Limited has announced the launch of a collection of business hotels, specialising in short-stay bookings and providing guests with a “chic living experience in vibrant city destinations”, dubbed  Citadines Connect – under the Citadines serviced residence umbrella.

Ascott Limited (Ascott) of CapitaLand is accelerating the expansion of its Citadines brand in China through a RMB100 million joint venture with Huazhu Hotels Group and CJIA Apartments Group.

Ascott, the Singapore-based serviced apartment operator, has started the year strongly by securing contracts for another six properties in China. The company has expanded its portfolio in Changsha, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Wuhan, while also entering two new markets, Handan and Xuzhou.
