S Hotels & Resorts, a subsidiary of Singha Estates, has announced the first phase of the CROSSROADS Maldives integrated leisure resort destination.

Tropical destination of choice for the well-heeled sun-seeker,the Maldives, is all set to receive another luxury option next year with the launch of SAii Lagoon Maldives, from Hilton’s Curio Collection, slated to open in 2019.

Following Travel Daily’s report on news that Singha Estates had signed a deal with Jalboot to run the marina within the company’s Crossroads project in the Maldives, I spoke to Dirk De Cuyper, the chief hospitality officer of S Hotels & Resorts (SHR) to discuss the Singha strategy, the travel habits of Millennials and the Crossroads project.
