The first aircraft to enter the Global Airlines fleet arrived at the Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) facility in Dresden on Friday 4th of October.

Global Airlines, the new all A380 airline, announced it has teamed up with global MRO specialist, Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW), signing a multi-million Euro deal to perform the base maintenance inspection that will enable return to commercial service for its first fully acquired aircraft.

Global Airlines first fully owned A380 yesterday touched down at Glasgow Prestwick Airport at 17:00 BST. 

A partnership has been announced between Global Airlines and Blacklane, the premiere global chauffeur service provider.

The identity of Global Airlines’ first aircraft is now known. MSN 120, the airlines first aircraft, last flew on December 22nd, 2022 and in the intervening 13 months, it has been continuously maintained and looked after by expert teams in the Mojave desert. 

According to Global Airlines founder and long-haul carrier proponent James Asquith, the popularity of the Airbus A380 among travellers, pilots, and airports is the key to the company’s success.
