Masks no longer compulsory during air travel

Air New Zealand ‘unmasks’ from 13 Sep
Masks will no longer be required on any Air New Zealand operated flights from 13 September 2022 following the Government’s announcement that face masks will no longer be required on inbound international or domestic flights.
No face masks for Australian flights from 9 Sept
Australia also joins other countries in removing the airplane face mask mandate. Alongside the lifting of face mask rules, political leaders have also agreed to reduce the isolation period for COVID-19 positive cases from seven days down to just five days.
