Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT)

Phuket’s tourism-reliant economy is on the brink of collapse as tourists, foreign and domestic, are almost non-existent for about a year on the island.

In line with Thailand’s reopening, the Thai government is reportedly considering restarting the tourism on Maya Bay in order to boost the flailing tourism in Phuket.

Residents of Bangkok and its nearby provinces have endured hazy days and choking air the past few days that forced schools and child centres to close and people to stay indoors.
