旅游体育部长谷干日前表示，今年上半年（1月至6月），泰国旅游业收入超过8520亿铢，游客数量达到1681万人，相比去年分别增长5.61%和3.91%。
明年，泰国预计将迎来旅游业营收的大增长，一切得部分归功于泰国政府对“零元团”的打击。不过泰国旅游局（TAT）日前表示，他们对在2018年实现旅游业营收充满了信心。
“往前看，泰国旅游局将把目标着重于吸引高质量旅客身上，”旅游体育部长谷干对曼谷邮报报道。“我们预计旅游业将在2018年总共迎来3.1万亿元泰铢营业额，比今年的2.7万亿将增长不少。”
若实现目标，与2017年相比，2018年营收将增长15％。来自国际旅客的营业额将增长17%至2.1万亿泰铢，国内营收额将增长5%至1万亿泰铢。
