LOUISE DALEY has been appointed as AccorHotels’ deputy chief executive officer Asia Pacific. She has been with AccorHotels for 26 years, having commenced her career in Australia before relocating to Bangkok in 2002 as GM of finance for Asia. Most recently she was CEO of Accor Plus.

MICHAEL THAMM has been appointed as the new CEO of Carnival Asia. Thamm, who has three decades of cruise industry experience, became the CEO of Costa Group in 2012. This new expanded role will see him oversee Carnival Corporation’s entire cruise operations in Asia and China.

SUMESH PATEL has been announced as SITA’s new president for Asia Pacific, based at the airport technology company’s regional headquarters in Singapore. The move marks a promotion for Patel, who previously served as SITA’s vice president of business management for Asia Pacific.

RAJIV RAJIAN has been appointed as the new global head of business travel for Amadeus. He brings 20 years of travel industry expertise to the company, moving across from Sabre, where he served in roles including VP of global sales & account management and VP of product marketing.

LINH LE has been named as the new group managing director of Asia DMC, which was formerly known as HG Travel. He joins the company following six years with Trails of Indochina. Le will now be tasked with overseeing Asia DMC’s expansion into Sri Lanka, China, India and the Philippines.

EMMANUEL EBRAY has become the new Asia Pacific managing director for HRS, the hotel solutions provider. He will be based in Singapore. Ebray is no stranger to HRS, having served as managing director for France since early 2011. Prior to that he worked with Bic, Boiron and Yves Rocher.

MARK SWINTON has been appointed general manager of Six Senses Bhutan, which is due to open this year. He moves to Bhutan from Bali, where he managed the Amanusa resort. Previously he has worked for Pan Pacific in Canada and Malaysia and Amanresorts in China, Bhutan and Indonesia.

ANDREW McTAGGART has been hired as the new development manager for Australia’s Mantra Group, to help drive the company’s on-going expansion. McTaggart has experience of hotel operations, finance, development and acquisitions, including many years with AccorHotels.

AMY LU has been appointed executive assistant manager for rooms at the Grand Hyatt Singapore. Ms Lu has gained experience in several Hyatt properties, including Hyatt Regency Saipan, where she was assistant front office manager, and Andaz Xintiandi Shanghai as director of rooms.

ANTONY BOX has been appointed director of sales & marketing for Marco Polo’s three hotels in Hong Kong. With 20 years of hospitality experience, Box has worked for Starwood and Hyatt in mainland China. Most recently he was director of sales & marketing at the Westin Resort Macau.
