Leisure Hotels Group has opened its twenty-sixth property at Mussoorie, strengthening its presence as the largest hotel operator in Uttarakhand, India.

The Sylverton, Mussoorie is a boutique resort on a prime location on top of a hill, providing views of the Doon Valley. The property is a short distance from the mall road in Mussoorie and features British colonial charm reflecting a bygone era.

“People have not explored yet”

Vibhas Prasad, director, Leisure Hotels Group, said: “Our experience in operating properties in Uttarakhand itself gives a clear understanding of the state’s potential and market. Mussoorie was one of the few destinations in Uttarakhand where we did not have a presence in. This popular hill station still has many places that people have not explored yet.”

This resort offers 45 rooms overlooking the valley. There are multiple options for dining such as L’Atittude, the Restro Bar, The Glass House, and Jim’s Grill, an Al Fresco dining at the English Garden.

For families, the Indulge recreation area offers games, a pool, music and a library. For rejuvenation and relaxation, the Tattva Spa & Gym offers various therapies and bodywork.

The Sylverton also offers banquet and conference facilities to accommodate up to 250 guests. There is a choice for both indoor and outdoor event spaces for corporate or social events and destination weddings.

Prasad added: “The Sylverton, Mussoorie compliments the footprint of Leisure Hotels in Uttarakhand. The Sylverton would be another ‘asset right’ model for the Leisure Hotels Group portfolio.”
