The expansion brings an anticipated 90 new tenants; an 18,000 square-foot indoor/outdoor events center; and a fully-revamped, two-level Nordstrom. CBRE Group, Inc. will relocate their central San Diego office to occupy the entire 32,336 square-foot newly built third floor and enjoy various convenient amenities and services Westfield UTC has to offer. This winter, a five-level parking garage and a bimodal transit center for buses, which will eventually connect the mid-county trolley extension planned for 2021, will be completed. There are also plans for a high-end residential tower on the southwest portion of the property, which is slated to break ground in June 2017. The new Westfield UTC offers a relaxed, sophisticated outdoor, destination that celebrates the best of La Jolla in a true coastal resort setting.
