Travelling to Goa? No RT PCR needed for fully vaccinated tourists to enter state

In a recent travel update, the Bombay High Court at Goa has allowed fully vaccinated travellers to enter the state without providing a negative RT PCR test report. The government of Goa had earlier submitted an application in the High Court to allow fully vaccinated people to enter the state.

In mid-July, the High Court had permitted fully vaccinated people to enter the state without a negative certificate, but the exemption was not for tourists. Those coming to Goa for tourism purposes were supposed to show their negative PCR certificate even if they were fully vaccinated.

However, kids above two years will have to come with their negative PCR report. Symptomatic children below two years will have to carry a PCR report. The government of Goa has also extended the COVID-19 curfew till 6 September.
