Vueling, part of the IAG group, has been the second most on-time low-cost airline in Europe between January and June 2023, with an average rate of 82.1% of the more than 100,000 flights operated, according to the global aviation analyst consultancy Cirium.
Cirium’s data also shows that Vueling attained the highest punctuality score of all low-cost airlines for departures out of Barcelona (83.3%) Paris-Orly (75.4%) and Rome (77%) in the first half of 2023.
In June, as per the “The On-Time Performance Review”, Vueling achieved an average punctuality rate of 76.9% for the more than 18,900 flights operated.

Cirium’s punctuality reports for airlines and airports are the longest-running analysis of their kind in the industry, which began in 2008. The analysis is based on flight data from more than 600 real-time flight information sources, with an independent advisory board, ensuring an accurate and balanced overview of airline punctuality analysis.
