The 800-year-old Gompa Thiksey in Ladakh

Cox & Kings has created a series of new tours to Ladakh, the popular Indian Himalayan tourist destination.

The six new tours range from five to seven nights and allow travellers to explore destinations including Leh, the Nubra Valley, Kargil and Pangong. The packages start from INR19,349 (approx. US$290) or INR36,999 (approx. US$554) inclusive of airfares.

The five-night “Ladakh – Roof of the World” tour includes visits to Leh, Alchi and Pangong, including the 15th Century Shey Palace and 800-year-old Gompa Thiksey, while the seven-night “Explore Ladakh” itinerary also traverses the Khardungla Pass – the world’s highest road navigable by vehicles.

The seven-night “Kargil Special with Aryan Village” tour covers Leh, Kargil & Nubra Valley, including a trip to the wartime frontier at Batalik, and the “Super Saver Ladakh with Air” is an affordable option that includes airfares and visits to Leh, Nubra Valley and Pangong.

Finally, the “Ladakh Delight with Air” and “Ladakh Grandeur with Air” packages both feature extensive seven-night itineraries across Ladakh, including airfares and trips to Leh, Nubra Valley and Pangong.

Ladakh is located in the India state of Jammu & Kashmir.
