Azamara Cruises Announces New Europe & Solar Eclipse Sailings for Summer 2026

Azamara Cruises, the small-ship cruise line renowned for its Destination Immersion® experiences, is thrilled to announce its 2026 summer sailings. With 77 new itineraries, guests can look forward to exploring captivating destinations, iconic landmarks, and ports of call that promise to delight and inspire.

A Season of Exploration

The Azamara Journey®, Azamara Quest®, and Azamara Onward® will traverse the Mediterranean and Northern Europe this summer. Guests will enjoy extended stays in Greece, Ireland, the British Isles, and more, ensuring ample time to soak in the rich cultures and stunning landscapes.

Solar Eclipse Cruises: A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience

Among the standout offerings are three solar eclipse cruises in August 2026. These unique voyages give guests the extraordinary opportunity to witness this spectacular natural phenomenon from the sea.

  • August 2, 2026: 11-night Mediterranean Cruise visiting Greece, Turkey, and Italy aboard Azamara Onward®.
  • August 7, 2026: 12-night Ireland Intensive Cruise exploring Belfast, Dublin, and Galway on Azamara Quest®.
  • August 8, 2026: 18-night Iceland and Canada Cruise featuring Reykjavik, St. John, and Quebec City on Azamara Journey®.

New Destinations and Immersive Experiences

Azamara Cruises is also introducing five maiden ports to its European lineup in 2026, accessible only to smaller ships. These include Sarande in Albania, Fredericia in Denmark, Turku in Finland, Menton in France, and Karlskrona in Sweden. Additionally, new pre- and post-cruise land programs will offer deeper explorations of these regions.

  • Icelandic Highlands, Reykjavik, Iceland: A 3-night program featuring Iceland’s natural wonders, including the Kerid Crater, Gullfoss Waterfall, and the Kerlingarfjöll Highlands. Guests will also enjoy a guided hike, a visit to the Secret Lagoon, and a tour of the UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park.
  • Ancient Wonders of Egypt & Greece, Athens, Greece: This 3-night program includes visits to the Great Pyramids of Giza, a dinner cruise on the Nile, and explorations of Athens’ historic sites, such as the Temple of Poseidon and the Acropolis.
