Lisa McAuley has been appointed to the role of managing director, tour operations, dnata Travel B2B Europe.
The role sees McAuley leading the marketing, trade sales, and product & commercial teams across brands Gold Medal and Travel 2.
The appointment follows the recently announced new chief executive officer – John Bevan – and new sales director – Nick Hughes. McAuley will join the business in January next year.
Reporting into Bevan, McAuley joins from Silversea Cruises where she has held the position of managing director UK and Ireland for the past two years. Prior to joining Silversea, Lisa held senior positions at Avis Budget Group, Lunn Poly, Shearings and Skibound.
She has been a member of the Association of Women Travel Executives for five years and was recently inducted into the ‘Influential Women In Travel, Tourism and Hospitality’ list by the organisation.

McAuley will be primarily based in the Preston office, with regular presence in the Glasgow office.
