Edinburgh’s wizard-themed bar, The Cauldron, is launching a Valentine’s Day version of their award-winning Potion Making Experience that will run exclusively on Tuesday 14 February. The Valentine’s Potions Experience includes a new brew-your-own potion: Cupid’s Cauldron. It’s a bright and dreamy invention from The Cauldron’s Magicineers and has lovers constructing a floral and bright vodka-based drink in a bubbling cauldron. Couples will sprinkle rose petals into a smoking cauldron and cast love enchantments into the haze.
For the final touches, potion-makers will garnish the foam-topped drink using a retro perfume atomizer, creating a magical brew to fill the heart with desire and tantalize the senses. Non-alcoholic mocktails will also be available. The 1hr 45 Minute Valentine’s Potions Making Experience also includes a glass of Prosecco on arrival; as well as another cocktail to create. Prices are £44.99 (approx. USD 54.76) for adults.

A seasonal bar menu of molecular shots & cocktails will also be available and include shots like the Heartbreaker Shot and the Heartmaker Shot. It also includes signature cocktails Elixir of Desire (a bittersweet take on a classic), Philtre of True Love (something sweet and magical) or Red Ruby Slippers (sweet, fruity and a touch of class).
Hidden in plain sight beneath Edinburgh’s Frederick Street, The Cauldron is a cocktail bar, and also offers an immersive cocktail class, with tickets starting at £32.99 (approx. USD 40.13) per magical being. Alcohol-free, gluten and vegan options are available.
