Preferred Hotels & Resorts has announced the new villas of Finca Cortesin, an independent luxury development in Spain, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Located on the Andalusian coast, between Marbella and Sotogrande in Spain, the independently-owned Finca Cortesin aims to be one of the finest luxury resorts in Europe.

In 2019, the resort will further extend its offering with the launch of new villas designed by locally-based Torras & Sierra Architects. The collection of five-bedroom, all en-suite residences have been built on spacious individual plots of up to 2,200 sqm to cater for families or groups of friends seeking more space.

The villas will be fully equipped with top-of-the-range kitchen gadgets and high-spec sound systems as well as ample staff accommodation and parking for two cars. Guests can relax by their private pool on the terraces and dine in both indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Between the mountains and the sea

The villas are located not far from the village and hills of Casares, as well as Sotogrande, Marbella and Malaga. Each property is positioned on the mountainside to provide views of the Sierra Bermeja mountain range, the golf course and the Mediterranean Sea.

The villas feature daily á la carte breakfast served at the El Jardín de Lutz restaurant, Wi-Fi, complimentary valet parking, freshly cut local flowers, a 4-seater electric golf buggy, exclusive Penhaligon’s toiletries in all bathrooms and twice daily housekeeping.

In addition, guests staying a minimum of five nights will receive complimentary one-way airport transfers from Malaga or Gibraltar, with guests staying seven nights or more receiving return transfers. For the particularly discerning traveller, a private chef, waiting staff and an unpacking service will also be available on demand.

The new villas are offered in addition to the existing La Reserva de Cortesin residences — a collection of five luxury holiday homes. They are built on large plots with Mediterranean gardens and private swimming pools. Each residence is equipped with four bedrooms, living spaces, marble bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen with full access to all Finca Cortesin resort amenities.
