Insider Journeys has announced the appointment of Gordon Bell as business development manager for international markets. He is a veteran of the travel industry and will focus particularly on developing the established tour operator in the North America market.

Bell, a former New Yorker, has been working in the travel and tourism industry for over 20 years. Most recently, he served as head of the Thailand division for Focus Asia, one of Asia’s foremost destination management companies. He has held a wide variety of sales and business development positions for many of the large DMCs in Asia and Australia. His focus on increasing revenue and brand awareness through innovative brand marketing initiatives and development of new markets resulted in numerous awards for his work as a salesperson. “Developing the established Insider Journeys brand in the North America market is a challenge I look forward to taking on,” he said.

Alice Fong, senior business development manager for Insider Journeys said: “We are very excited to see our team strengthened by someone as experienced as Gordon. We are expecting to see great things from him.”
