Hainan Airlines announced that it opens a new Haikou-Chongqing-Seattle route beginning 26th September, its first international route flying from Haikou to the US.
As Hainan Airlines’ 13th international and regional route departing from Haiko, it serves as a convenient bridge between Hainan and the US, further promoting the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.
The route features one round-trip flight per week on the Haikou-Chongqing-Seattle international route, flying every Thursday.
The outbound flight takes off from Haikou Meilan International Airport at 07:00 Beijing time, arriving in Chongqing at 09:10. It takes off again from Chongqing at 11:20, then arrives at Seattle Tacoma International Airport at 09:00 local time. The total flight time is expected to be 17 hours.
The return flight, on the other hand, takes off from Seattle Tacoma International Airport at 11:00 local time, arriving in Chongqing at 16:00 Beijing time the next day. It then takes off from Chongqing at 18:30, and arrives at Haikou Meilan International Airport at 20:45. The total flight time is expected to be 18 hours and 45 minutes.
