Hoshino Resorts’ urban tourism hotel OMO7 Osaka was recently appointed a Partner Sponsor for the upcoming World Expo 2025.
The hotel will serve as a hub for welcoming both domestic and international visitors to the Expo as a way of boosting Osaka’s tourism.
OMO7 Osaka general manager Shota Kabuki remarked that the Osaka Kansai Expo is an excellent opportunity for Osaka, and Japan as a whole, to showcase its charm to the world.
Kabuki said: “We hope that the Osaka Kansai Expo will serve as a catalyst for revitalizing the entire city of Osaka, leading to sustainable development. As a member of the community, OMO7 Osaka is dedicated to contributing to the success of the Expo and the future beyond it.”
A well-appointed facility
OMO7 Osaka opened in 2022, and received an environmental award earlier this year for its 7,600 square meter Miya-green garden area at the 42nd Osaka Cityscape Architecture Awards.
Its architecture, which integrates environmentally conscious technology, includes Japan’s first membrane covered exterior design, reducing the solar radiation load and mitigating the heat island effect.
Located in front of Shin-Imamiya Station in Osaka’s Naniwa Ward, OMO7 Osaka offers a premium travel experience through its Osaka-style hospitality, unique facilities and services, as well as convenient transportation and access to the city’s famed attractions.
