To promote Mauritius as a golfing destination, Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) organised Mauritius Tourism Invitational Golf Tournaments in collaboration with India Golf Tourism Association (IGTA), Mauritius Golf Tourism Association (MGTA) and Air Mauritius. The tournaments took place in three cities, Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru.

According to Vivek Anand, country manager, Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, Mauritius, besides being an ideal round-the-year destination for the entire family, also boasts of ten 18-hole golf courses, each offering a unique golfing experience.

“With perfect golfing weather year-round, superb accommodation and the world-renown Mauritian hospitality, we believe firmly that Mauritius is set to rival the best golfing destinations of the world. Thus, MTPA plans to do more such events to attract more Indian golfers to the island,” he added.
