MSC Cruises announced the opening of a brand new home port for the company as another milestone in its ongoing U.S. expansion. MSC Seascape will be home-ported in Galveston, Texas, on the U.S. south coast, beginning in November 2025, becoming MSC Cruises’ fourth home port in the United States.

The line began selling year-round sailings from the port today, with seven-night cruises departing on Sunday. Guests will be treated to a one-of-a-kind itinerary sailing to stunning Caribbean sites such as Costa Maya and Cozumel (Mexico) and Isla de Roatan (Honduras), with the inaugural departure set for November 9, 2025.

“This announcement is the latest step in our strategy to continue to grow our U.S. footprint,” MSC Cruises CEO Gianni Onorato said, referring to the company’s ongoing U.S. growth. “We commenced operations earlier this year from our third U.S. home port, New York City, where we now sail year-round, and we are proud to add Galveston to that growing line-up, alongside PortMiami and Port Canaveral”.

On the Jaguar Truck, guests can immerse themselves in nature as they journey through rainforests to explore an open Mexican cenote.
• Isla de Roatan – Ilsa de Roatan is off the coast of Honduras, a largely untouched island known for its incredible barrier reef.
