Princess Cruises has announced it will attempt to set a world record for the largest number of married guests renewing their vows at sea to mark Valentine’s Day.

On 14 February 2020, couples sailing onboard the 3,600-guest Regal Princess are invited to celebrate by taking part in this special occasion as the ship sails the Caribbean. The ceremony will be officiated by Gavin MacLeod, who portrayed Captain Stubing in the popular TV series ‘The Love Boat’. Jill Whelan, also from the show, will serve as a matron of honour. A number of romantic indulgences will be offered on the cruise to guests.

Regal Princess will set out for the seven-day roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale. Departing on 9 February 2020, ports of call include Princess Cays (Bahamas), Ocho Rios (Jamaica), Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands) and Cozumel (Mexico), where the ceremony will take place at sea.
