Saraid Carey is the new general manager of Hyatt Regency Brisbane

Hyatt Regency Brisbane has announced that Saraid Carey assumed the position of general manager. Hyatt’s first property in  Brisbane and return of the Hyatt brand to the state of Queensland, which recently opened on 1  February 2021.  

A highly engaging and dynamic leader, Saraid returns home to Australia, most recently as pre-opening general manager of Hyatt Regency Koh Samui, Thailand. With over 18 years of hotel leadership experience, Saraid has previously held positions as opening general manager of  Hyatt Place Bangkok, hotel manager Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, EAM sales and marketing Grand Hyatt Melbourne, director of events and pre-opening team member of Park Hyatt  Melbourne. 

Additionally, Saraid was part of The Starlight Children’s Foundation as National Events  Manager, and was the general manager of business development and partnerships, for  L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival, the largest consumer Fashion Festival globally, from 2009  to 2010.

Located on Queen Street Mall, Hyatt Regency Brisbane is a premium retreat in the heart of  Brisbane’s Central Business District. The hotel features 292 well-appointed guestrooms with  modern décor, two food and beverage outlets; Lennons Restaurant and Bar and The Pool 

Terrace and Bar, along with 100 square metres of flexible meeting space at the Executive  Studios. Other facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre and iconic outdoor 20-metre infinity-edge pool ideal for unwinding after a day’s work, shopping or exploring Brisbane.
