As snow hits the UK and affects travel, we share with you some relevant data from Cirium, which highlights flight cancellations during the weekend.
As per Cirium Data, a total of 316 flights were cancelled across these UK airports this weekend – 11% of all scheduled flights. Heathrow Airport saw the highest number of cancellations with 119 over the weekend – 10% of all scheduled flights. Gatwick Airport was the most affected, with 16% of all flights this weekend being cancelled – that’s 91 flights.
