Set on the premises of the five-star InterContinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran Convention Centre has outstanding facilities for meetings, conventions, weddings, and more. Here is how this expansive function space on the breathtaking shore of Jimbaran Bay can accommodate various events.
A Bali convention centre in a prime location
A stone’s throw from the white-sand Jimbaran Beach with its restaurants and bars offering panoramic sunset views, the Jimbaran Convention Centre has not one, not two, but 19 meeting spaces. Spread across two and a half floors, the noble meeting spaces fuse functional elements with modern aesthetics, including floral accents, playful geometries, and polished marble that fits into InterContinental’s brand. Let’s not forget the colourful wall art that taps into the emotionality of travel and Bali culture.
The visual appeal aside, Jimbaran Convention Centre has rooms with a capacity of up to 2,000 people. There are also extensive outdoor function spaces at InterContinental, one of the most luxurious resorts in Bali. InterContinental Bali Resort can host a maximum of 1,500 guests, steps from ocean waves washing up on the shore.
A convention centre with endless meeting spaces
The latest convention centre in Bali is also the largest on the Island of the Gods. This is most apparent in the Imperial Grand Ballroom.
Level 1
The Imperial Grand Ballroom
This versatile ballroom created by ARKdesign Architects promotes abstractive thinking, ideal for unlocking ideas. We’re talking 2,380 square metres, a nine-metre-high ceiling, and contemporary design with Balinese influences.
Thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, Jimbaran Convention Centre’s flagship room is flooded with natural light. Technical highlights include a giant LED mega screen and high-intensity LED lighting fixtures with advanced colour mixing technology for superior surge and lighting protection. The enhanced audio-video system allows video streaming as well as conferencing and recording, plus mobile protection and satellite communications.
The technology offers impeccable acoustic quality as well, making it ideal for meetings, seminars, product launches, other Bali mice events, and even weddings and small concerts.
Before people enter The Imperial Grand Ballroom, however, they’re welcomed at the Pre-Function Area on Level 1, which sets the stage for a productive event.
Pre-Function Area First Floor
From elegant pendant lights and purple orchids to polished marble floors and comfy couches framed by paintings of dancers and beautiful women, the inviting setting makes visitors feel welcome instantly. People arriving at Jimbaran Convention Centre will also experience cordial greetings at the Pre-Function Area on the first floor. It’s an excellent place for a chat with business partners before moving to the ballroom, the crown jewel of this Bali convention centre.
Also on Level 1 are the three Puri Kencana ballrooms and the 70 sqm-Ramayana and Mahabarata VIP Rooms, which allow for smaller gatherings of 10. While these VIP rooms are great for social events with an intimate atmosphere, the Puri Kencana ballrooms have a gigantic capacity of 250. These rooms are linked to the Imperial Grand Ballroom by the mezzanine in Jimbaran Convention Centre’s main building. The mezzanine itself boasts several meeting rooms, too.
Mezzanine rooms
Nakula
Perfect for smaller meetings events in Bali, the Nakula venue has a capacity of 10. One of Jimbaran Convention Centre’s two executive boardrooms, Nakula features the latest audio-visual tech on 46.53 square metres, including an 85-inch Smart TV.
Sadewa
Jimbaran Convention Centre’s second executive boardroom is tech-forward as well. It features an 85-inch Smart TV and the latest AV equipment, making it an ideal space for business meetings of 10.
Pandawa
Open one of the doors embellished with golden brass, and you’ll enter this carpeted, 259.6 sqm-room that can be divided into 133.34 sqm-sections. Needless to say, to provide an excellent venue for business meetings, it also features advanced audio-visual tech and event support.
Further rooms await on the second floor, from boardrooms and VIP rooms to a business centre and wedding showroom.
Level 2
Pandu
This 30 sqm-meeting venue can host up to nine people, ideal for cocktail-style business and social events. As well as technical support, Pandu boasts modern AV equipment and a 62-inch Smart TV.
Kunti
An elegant synthesis of white walls adorned with golden brass, local patterns and gold-framed art, Kunti creates a visually appealing environment for successful execution of an event. One of the multi-function spaces with 68.97 square metres and a capacity of 60, the meeting venue with executive chairs boasts tech support as well as advanced AV gear and a 65-inch Smart TV.
Assistance across the board
Aside from ample spaces and state-of-the-art technology to improve productivity, businesses can bank on a team of event professionals. They help from the enquiry stage to event completion and beyond.
What’s more, Jimbaran Convention Centre’s passionate and professional culinary team comes up with creative set menus for refreshment breaks, buffet, lunch or dinner. Given the close proximity to the beach, it’s no surprise that Jimbaran Convention Centre provides meeting space for up to 1,500 people at the resort’s 18,000 sqm-Sunset Garden, which offers unbroken views of the ocean.
While the aptly named Sunset Garden is perfect for grand celebrations, guests can also watch the sun sink orange at Alun Alun Garden, which is ideal for romantic gatherings of 150 people. No matter how big or small your event is, attendees will want to stay at InterContinental Bali Resort, a luxury hotel in Bali that boasts accommodations from leading to premium categories. Top facilities include the exclusive Club Lounge, the Sunset Beach Bar & Grill with daily live entertainment, plus the heavenly spa with steam rooms, saunas, and whirlpools that will give the body and mind a well-deserved break.
Complete with personalised service and huge meeting spaces, five thematic dining outlets and six invigorating swimming pools, Jimbaran Convention Centre is arguably the best place for meetings and conferences in Bali.
