The Tourism Authority of Thailand recently held its annual reshuffle, resulting in the appointment of four new deputy governors.

These new officials took office today, 1st October, and have all been promoted from other positions within the organisation.

Banyat Kalasuwan, previously executive director of TAT’s general administration department, got promoted to deputy governor for administration.

Pattaraanong Na Chiangmai, previously executive director of the Northern Region,is now TAT’s Europe region executive director Chiravadee Khunsub was likewise promoted to deputy governor for tourism products and business; while executive director for advertising and public relations Kittipong Prapattong takes on the post of deputy governor for digitalisation, research, and development.

A team of eight

Led by TAT governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool, the agency’s organisational structure features eight deputy governors, though two of these positions were restructured at this year’s reshuffle.

Deputy governors who saw adjustments to their roles were deputy governor for tourism products and business Apichai Chatchalermkit who is now deputy governor for the domestic market; and deputy governor for digitalisation research and development Teerasil Tapen who now takes on the role of deputy governor for policy and planning.

Aside from those mentioned, the structure also includes Nithee Seeprae, deputy governor for marketing communications; and Siripakorn Cheawsamoot, deputy governor for international marketing, covering Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas.
