Tourism Fiji recently partnered with Fiji Airways and Fliggy, the travel arm of the Alibaba Group, for a China-only campaign that offers great airfare and travel deals to Chinese tourists.
This campaign is seen as a pivotal move for Chinese tourism overseas as it brings all stakeholders and partners together with the goal of providing Chinese travellers with competitive and attractive Fiji holiday options.
Just after its launch, the campaign generated thousands of bookings of air tickets, travel packages and one-day tours, achieving a total global media value of over FJD$2 million.
