The Middle East has been increasing its hold over tourist footfalls in the last few months. Joining the bandwagon this week is Ras Al Khaimah.

The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) recently announced the opening of RAK Airventure, a brand-new hot air ballooning experience. A family-friendly experience, the RAK Airventure offers stunning aerial views of the Emirate’s diverse landscape and urban scenery.

Flights last approximately 10 minutes and take adventurers almost 30 metres above the ground, giving them a bird’s eye view of Ras Al Khaimah’s majestic Hajar Mountains, sprawling terracotta dunes, mangroves and the city’s bustling markets, palaces and mosques.
