Vitur Summit, the flagship European short-term rental event to be held in Malaga from Wednesday to Friday (May 10th to May 12th), has set up the first showcase of a sustainable vacation rental at the heart of the convention center. The Vitur Sustainable Living Experience, a showcase apartment by Kave Homes and built in the heart of Malaga’s Convention center, will be unveiled in collaboration with Sustonica.

Equipped with sustainable features, the property serves as a model for reducing the environmental and social impact of holiday rental properties. Short-term rental owners and managers can improve their Sustonica score by adopting the sustainable solutions showcased in the Vitur Sustainable Living Experience. These include using tap water filtering devices, occupancy sensors, digital guidebooks, toiletries free of microplastics and eco-friendly towels and linens.

Sustonica is the first sustainability badge for vacation rentals. By implementing sustainable solutions, owners and managers can improve their Sustonica score and attract environmentally conscious guests.
